Hey I’m Casey! In a few months I’ll be finishing a master’s degree in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition. I’m also completing the Didactic Program Degree, part of the process to become a registered dietitian, RD. I love food and I love traveling. At the age of 24, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to 5 continents, 17 other countries, and all over the United States.

I’m taking advantage of going to school in Boston by exploring the city and the rest of New England, one weekend trip at a time. As the last few years have been intensive school work, I’m itching to get to travel more longterm again and not be stuck writing papers and doing data analysis for my classes. Potential trips for the upcoming year include India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka for a friend’s wedding, a road trip around the Midwest and Western US states, Vermont, Maine, and a few spots throughout Canada.

Years ago this blog started out for friends and family while I studied abroad in Spain, but it was only updated about 3 times in the 6 months I was gone. Since returning, I’ve had every intention of finally getting the blog started and sharing all my posts, as I backpacked around 14 countries in Europe and Northern Africa. Four years later, and I’m finally getting around to it! I’m mixing up all my trips and between each Europe post I’ll be sharing my adventures around the US, and other more recent international trips I’ve been fortunate to go on.
