Day three of New York we spent entirely in Brooklyn until it was time to run over to catch our bus. We left our hostel extra early to head over to Dumbo to get the “instagram shot” in front of the Manhattan bridge. It’s the most photographed spot in Brooklyn, and was incredibly packed when we stopped by earlier in the trip. We decided the most instagrammed spot deserved the most instagrammed food, so we stopped at The Bagel Store for the rainbow bagels first. Tip: pass on the RainbowFetti Cream Cheese option and get something savory or with a different cream cheese option, as it is incredibly too sweet. As someone with a certified sweet tooth, this option was a bit much even for me. The RainbowFetti option has rainbow sprinkles added in, but I promise you, you’ll have enough rainbow just from the bagel. Around the corner from the Dumbo spot is Brooklyn Bridge Park and Jane’s carousel. We spent the remainder of our time there, window shopping, drinking coffee, and embracing our inner children by being the only adults on the carousel surrounded by kids half our height.
